There is no cure for stage IV breast cancer.
The best options we have to prolong the person’s life are provided by conventional medicine. Their oncologist will decide on a treatment plan based on their cancer’s subtype and may be able to further narrow down the best drugs based on genomic testing. Nowadays not everyone goes through IV chemo, surgery and radiation as a first line of treatment, there are new, easier-to-tolerate treatments available too.
Always discuss any natural supplement you take with your doctor as they may interfere with conventional treatment.
If you are the patient, trust your oncologist or trust your guts if you feel like you need a second opinion.
